Exercise is actually fun. Especially when you make it a group effort. I normally work out with my husband and kids and sometimes my aunt. You do not have to over exert yourself to lose weight and get rapid results. The key to weight loss is repetitiveness. It's that easy. Just do it over and over. I work out maybe a maximum of 25 to 45 minutes a day. I use an elliptical for 15 minutes and I then I take a 1 1/2 mile walk. That's it! Super simple and it leaves me feeling accomplished and energized.
The reason these two things work for me is because I do them religiously on a daily basis. The elliptical (which we call Satan's child) works every single aspect of my body. It works my arms, legs, and abs all at the same time. I highly suggest you invest in an elliptical. It is the only piece of exercise equipment you will need. The reason for the nickname is that when you're done with the 15 minutes your lungs are on fire lol! It gives one heck of a cardio workout! Ellipticals work your quads, glutes, hip flexors and hamstrings. If your elliptical has an adjustable incline ramp, you can emphasize the calf workout by adjusting the ramp to a steep angle. Most mid-range and high-end elliptical trainers have moving handlebars you can push and pull for an upper-body workout, and they also allow you to pedal backward for variety.
